It is a substantial fully constructed desk that is both heavily hand carved in solid hardwoods and combined with intricate iron from the hands of skilled blacksmiths. The desk drawers are well designed with multiple uses in mind including sized hanging file folders, each drawer utilizes upgraded ball bearing glides for smooth operation. The desk is finished in a deep brown wood tone and has unique finished affects consistent with the era of the design and resulting from Peruvian finishing techniques of hand rubbing and exposing the rich wood undertones.
